Master Percussionist Don Alias passed away on March 28, 2006 at 66 years of age. Don appeared on thousands of recordings and performed along with Chick Corea, Jaco Pastorius, Miles Davis, Eric Clapton , David Sanborn among others. A lot of you might remember his performance in Joni Mitchell's Shadows and Light .
