The Funky Black Orpheus EP evolved from an informal jam session with the bassist David Hilton in my studio in San Diego. As I listened to the first rough tracks, I was quite pleased by the nice blend of smooth and intense melodic phrasing. Joel Taylor and his beautiful drumming created a perfect connection between David and I allowing our creativity to be explored through the recording. |
