In this 2 CD Set, from the archives of India's oldest and most respected record companies, Saregama, is a selection of some of Ravi's finest recordings representing two facests of his career.

The first CD, "The Radical", includes a duet with his longtime friend and guru-bandhu, the great Sarod Maestro - Ustad Ali Akbar Khan.

The second CD, "The Classicist", includes some of Ravi's finest classical performances. He is accompanied by the greatest North Indian percussionists as follows - Ustad Ahmad Jan Thirakwa, Ustad Alla Rakha, and Ustad Zakir Hussain.
