James Mac (Guitar); Jimi Fischer (Bass, Drums); Joel Griffin (Drums)

Brand New Release. San Francisco area guitarist Jimmy Mac premier instrumental Jazz/Rock release is reminiscing of influences by Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, Prince among others. Jimmy's rock tone along with his technical fireworks make this record that much more interesting. A sessionist with Mike Stern, Dave La Rue, this is a recommended record.

This is one fantastic album. Jimmy's compositions and inticate guitar techniques give it that great appeal.

This CD is quite a compilation with a wide variety of influences from Jeff Beck to Stevie Wonder, Steve Vai and more. This bluesy, jazzy, rockin` set shows just how dynamic Jimmy Mac can be. I found even the slower numbers such as Beslan are suprisingly c

I had the privilege of working with Jim on our 1989 Chrysalis LP where he played a beautiful violin part. This LP of his has surpassed my wildest expectations. Fans of late '70s funk fusion should take notice, they just don't make them like this anymore.

Well Jimmy, I dug it - the riffs reminded me of a number of musical influences I hold dear, especially 'Orinoco', with the gentle reference to Stevie Wonder's 'Black Orchid'. I also liked Beslan a lot, and a couple of the tracks had hints of Steely Dan. T
