Author: Ed Yoon If you're into (or have been into) Vai, Satch, a bit of Yngwie mixed in with the likes of Lane, Howe, and Garsed, some Morse and EJ with sprinklings of Henderson, Scofield, and Metheny with a portion of Derek Trucks, Scotty Anderson and Brent Mason thrown

Author: Joe This is an expensive cd, but it is worth it! I'd pay so much more that this if I had to (though I wish the price would fall so more people could afford this amazing album, everyone deserves to and should listen to this CD at least once.) Guthrie is a technical giant, but he doesn't let it ruin his ability to make music - just the opposite. I have shown this album to a rather large number of friends with different musical tastes, and they all love it.
Seriously, buy this!

Author: Greg Senko Yes, I get a grin when I hear Guthrie's playing, but it is more than that. He is truely inspiring. I have practiced more after hearing him than I have in 5 years and tapped more than I have since 1987. Guthrie gives every guitar player hope that if you dedicate the time you too can play the licks that Steve Vai was inventing in the 1990s ... but, with better tone - Thanks Guthrie, you inspire!
