Under his leadership, Sylvain Cossette’s jazz quartet brings life to the music that he has written. For several years, the group has been perfecting a repertoire of original pieces while constantly searching for new sounds. The group has performed at several music halls and festivals in Québec and has been invited to play at French jazz festivals (2002).
While studying at Concordia University and at McGill University, Sylvain Cossette was able to perfect his approach to composing. Not only was he the recipient of several grants from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, he also studied under American guitarist Ben Monder.
Special guest on Alto Saxophone Remi Bolduc (Marc Johnson, Ben Monder, Kenny Werner, etc.)
