Another strong effort from Italian drummer/composer Massimo. "Into The Void" consist of 10 tracks of adventurous fusion (9 originals by Massimo and the title track which is a live-in-the-studio duet improvisation).

The album itself is named adequately, as it is hard to forget the feelings provoked by listening to the enigmatic compositions that are open interpretations of Massimo's visions; these visions are a collection of ideas that are to do with dreams and an intimate perception of reality. The complex music here has the genuine intent to incourage the listener to stretch the limits of the imagination, and being aware that some of the ideas on this cd are more meaningful, others remain intentionally elusive.
