While putting the royal flowers on ice for a while, the 2 stringbenders of The Flower Kings , namely Jonas & Roine started to reflect on the idea of going out, playing shows with their"sideprojects".

We did a warm-up European tour in October before we packed our bags for two sunny weeks in the U.S.A. The first stop was Los Angeles and the Cal Prog festival. A festival that is held annually in Whittier CA Zoltan had a jazztour booked in Asia (ping !so the drumchair was taken by the stupendously prolific Nick D'Virgillio.(Spocks Beard,Tears For Fears,Cirque de Soleil,Genesis)
With only 6 hours of rehearsal and with almost three hours of dense material to learn, Nick showed how a "true pro" blend in and make it sound like we've been playing for weeks.(hats off) Judge for yourselves since all but one track on this disc were recorded from that very first show
