Over the past eleven years, "Logic" has been committed to blending the spontaneous and improvisational aspects of jazz with elements of Latin, electronic, folk and pop music into their original compositions and improvisations.
Formed in 1999 by Tim Wilson and Glenn Cannon, jazz-fusion group "Logic" has maintained a strong presence in the Australian music scene through the release of their four albums "Logic/self-titled" (2001), "The Waiting Game" (2004), "Native Strut" (2008), "The Hierarchy" (2010) and a soon to be released DVD "Live at Bennetts Lane".
The group has made regular appearances at clubs and festivals in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth and has twice supported iconic American group "The Yellowjackets".
Since 2008, "Logic" has made a stamp on the international jazz scene through undertaking several tours that have included performances at the "Java Jazz Festival" (Indonesia, 2008), "Mosaic Music Festival" (Singapore, 2008), "Philippine International Jazz and Arts Festival" (Manila, 2009), "Hong Kong International Jazz Festival" (Hong Kong, 2010), "Beishan International Jazz Festival" (Zhuhai, China, 2010), "Nine Gates International Jazz Festival" (Beijing, 2010) and the "Jarasum International Jazz Festival" (Korea, 2010). The group has also made numerous club appearances throughout China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan and Malaysia.
In February this year, "Logic" will again perform at the "Philippine International Jazz and Arts Festival 2011" and in October, at the "Bekasi International Jazz Festival 2011", Indonesia.
