On December 1989 was a an all-star quartet of Wayne Shorter, Michel Petrucciani, Stanley Clarke and Lenny White in New York's Chelsea Studios to create old and new material from a seemingly unforgettable evening of jazz. White, who had the idea for this result, invited an additional Gil Goldstein and Pete Levin as a synthesizer player, so that this session was also accompanied by orchestral sounds. Masterfully worked all the legendary musician through a mix of jazz classics and new material, including the two standards "Autumn Leaves" and "Summer Times" and in the middle sixties immortalized Shorter composition "Nefertiti". Also worth noting that on "Autumn Leaves" Rechelle Ferrell gives her recording debut.
