Gustavo Assis Brasil's latest hybrid picking offering is a treasure trove! For those who have experience with the hybrid picking style, the book offers tons of fantastic new exercises and ideas (check out the atonal lines - my personal favorite). For those who are new to the technique, the book will open up a whole new way of seeing the guitar. (That's right, it's not just about playing with pick and fingers - the hybrid picking technique allows you to see the neck in new ways, using techniques like octave displacement and spread arpeggios). The book is chock full of beautiful lines, and it's easy to read and use, with detailed fingerings and tablature. Sink your fingers into this book and you will definitely not regret it!!
