Jeff Beck played live at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London November 27, 2007. The band was identical with Montreux and Illinois (Vinnie C., Tal W. and Jason R.)- except for vocals (two numbers)where Mr. Beck was joined by Imogen Heap – who has performed with him previously.

The club is rather small – 200-250 seats (?), the band was, however, very well received by the audience. The set list resembled Montreux in some ways. The set included (among others): Beck,s Bolero, Eternity’s Breath, Freeway Jam, Big Block, Nadia, Cause We Ended As Lovers, Goodbye Pork Pie Hat/Brush With The Blues (medley), Angel (Footsteps), Scatterbrain, A Day In The Life. Encore: Rollin’ And Tumblin’ with Imogen Heap on vocals. The last number – according to some bluesologists – was recorded by Hambone Willie Newbern as early as 1928.
